Not more tricks. Not more overthinking. Space.
Maybe you’ve been told to tighten it up, get it right, be more polished. Maybe you’ve learned to rely on control instead of connection. And somewhere along the way, the part of you that plays, that risks, that feels without hesitation… got quieter.
At Embodied Acting Studio, we don’t try to “fix” this part of you. We bring it back online. We ask it what it needs.
These group classes are designed to take you out of your head and into your body where your most truthful, compelling work actually lives.
Through somatic practices, voice, movement, and in-the-moment exploration, you’ll start to build a deeper connection to your instincts, your impulses, and your presence.
This isn’t about performing perfectly.
It’s about letting your body lead instead of your inner critic. Trusting what arises instead of forcing outcomes.
If you’re ready to shake off the noise, loosen your grip on control, and reconnect with the actor underneath all the effort…this space is for you.
Led by Lindsey Higgins—director, acting coach, and MFA-trained theatre artist—these sessions offer more than just technique.
They are an invitation to reconnect with the art of truthful expression.
An opportunity to explore character through sensation, impulse, and imagination. To move from the inside out.
This is the work of embodied acting
where presence is power, and performance becomes transformation.
